About Us
The head
of the farm: Bella
Wessaloosa Farms
is 38 acres in southwest Illinois, just 45 min. southeast of St.
Louis, MO. We moved from Florissant, MO after being there for 16 years
raising Appaloosas and kids. The kids are grown, finishing school and starting
familys of their own. The Appaloosas are still at home with us.
I've been raising
Appaloosas for 35 years. We truly believe in the versatility, strength,
endurance and beauty of the Appaloosa horse. If you are looking for a Western, English,
Cutting, Trail, Halter or a great backyard friend, the Appaloosa can fill all your needs.
We focus on
bloodlines like Red Eagle, Patchy, Sundance, Freel's Chico, and other great
foundation lines.
We're very proud of Wessaloosa Farms and all who call it home. Please feel
